The book then covers further the du'as throughout the life of a Muslim, various forms of Dhikr, virtues of reciting the Noble Qur'an, du'as recited by the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam, excellence of invoking Salawaat (darood) upon Rasoolullah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam, in English with Arabic text.

Al-Hizbul Azam - Prayers from the Qur'an & Sunnah
Paperback - 257 pages Arabic / English Compiled by Mullah Ali al Qari

Daily Prayers for the Entire Month (Divided into 29 Manzils)
Compiled by: Al- Imam al-Muhaddith Ali bin Sultan Muhammad al Qari (Mullah Ali al Qari 'alayhir rahman w'al ridwan) Arabic - English Papeback 257 Pages [Pocket Size A5]
Improved Publication and Print: Easy to read Arabic (Persian or the common Indo/Pak) Script is used so as to make it easier to read for non Arabic Speakers
The universally accepted traditional prayers have a status beyond compare; because the prayers which Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has revealed, either in the Qur'an al karim or by inspiring them as a direct, first person communication from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, or by a hidden revelation, spoken by the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam or taught to some of his Companions, are by definition more acceptable to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala: hence this collection of’ prayers compiled by Allamah Au bin Sultan Muhammad also known as Mullah Ali Qari. Mullah Ali Qari May Allah be pleased with him has said in his preface that if you read this compilation daily, it is very good. If that is not possible, then it should be read weekly, or monthly, or even once a year; and if even that is not possible then at least once in a lifetime.
Previously this thology was published with the ‘duas’ divided into seven days, for each day of the week. This division was not one which Mullah Ali Qari had done himself as is apparent from his words, but was done at some later stage. As people, sometimes, are not able to read the entire collection of ‘duas’ in seven days, this Al-Hizb-ul-Azam has been divided into 29 Manzils’, one for each day of the month. Every Manzil starts with the ‘Hamd’ followed by the Durood’ and then other ‘duas’. The order has been changed, but nothing has been added to, or removed from the original text. --From The Preface
The Author has gathered together Prayers from Authentic Hadith and other famous classical works such as Hisn-e-Haseen (Juzri), Al Azkaar (Nawawi), Al Kalim Ut Tayyib and Al-Jaame'en and ad-Durr (Imam Suyuti, Al Qul ul Badi (Sakhavi)
This work has earned great popularity in the Muslim world; and almost became a part of the daily ritual for all.
About the Author: 'Ali ibn Sultan Muhammad al-Qari (d.1014/1605), popularly known as Mulla 'Ali al-Qari. He was born in Herat, Iran, where he received his basic Islamic education. Thereafter, he travelled to Makkah al-Mukarramah and studied under the celebrated scholar Shaykh Ahmad ibn Hajar Haythami Makki. Mulla 'Ali al-Qari eventually decided to remain in Makkah al-Mukarramah where he taught, died and was laid to rest. He was one of the great Hanafi masters of hadith and Imams of fiqh, Qur'anic commentary, language, history and tasawwuf, he authored several great commentaries such as al-Mirqat on Mishkat al-masabih in several volumes, a two-volume commentary on Qadi `Iyad's al-Shifa', and a two-volume commentary on Imam al-Ghazali's abridgment of the Ihya entitled `Ayn al-`ilm wa zayn al-hilm (The spring of knowledge and the adornment of understanding).

Du'a-e-Ganj ul Arsh with Dua Dafi'al Waba and Sayyidal 'Istaghfar
It is said, that one day, the Beloved Messenger of Allah May Allah bless him and grant him peace was sitting in the Mosque, when Hadrat Jibra'il 'alayhi salam approached and gave this dua' to the Beloved Messenger of Allah May Allah bless him and grant him peace. The riwaaya of this du'a is very long. The gist of the isnaad is given.
Hadrat Jibra'il 'alayhi salam said that in addition to a lot of fazaail [favours] in this du'a, the reciter gets two additional benefits from Allahu ta 'ala. Firstly, Allah Subhaanahu gives him rizq [livelihood] from the ghayb [unknown sources], and secondly, whoever recites this du'a his enemies will not be able to overcome him. He ill be superior to them. The person who does jihad will have the upper hand. If one embarks on a journey, he will return with all his possessions intact. He will be safe from the shaat of shaytaan na'oootho Billahi min ash shaytanir rajeem. He will be safe from evil, and untoward from the ground and from the skies.---Source Wazaif Books. The Prayer of the Oppressed by Imam Muhammad b. Nasir al-Dari Hardback - Audio Book [Book and CD] Translation & Introduction by: Hamza Yusuf
The Power of this prayer of Imam Muhammad al-Dari lies in its simplicity, its purity, and its sincere supplication.
It is essentially a plea to God that our transgressions be overlooked, that divine mercy be bestowed upon us, that social justice be restored in spite of us, that wrongs be righted, and that righteousness reign once again in our lands, so that the destitute may no longer be in need, the young may be educated, the animals’ purpose fulfilled, rain restored, and bounties poured forth. It is a plea to be freed from the aggression of foreigners in lands over which they have no right—a plea much needed in our modern world, rampant as it is with invasions and territorial occupations. Ultimately, it asks not that our enemies be destroyed, but simply that their plots, and the harm they cause, be halted. Its essence is mercy, which in turn is the essence of the Messenger of God, Muhammad May Allah bless him and grant him peace: “And We have only sent you as a mercy to all the worlds.”
Reviews:
“Shaykh Hamza Yusuf has rendered a tremendous service to Islam with this translation of a powerful, deeply spiritual supplication, and passed it along to a community of Muslims far removed from its Moroccan roots. He has also augmented it with a riveting Introduction that examines the nature of oppression and its impact on human societies, while challenging us to admit our powerlessness to God.” – Imam Zaid Shakir Author, Co-founder of Zaytuna College
“Hamza Yusuf is in himself and his work, a beautiful, and absolutely necessary, living bridge between the Islamic and American cultures. His eloquence, and his brilliant intelligence, are vital energies, nourishment, we can share.” – Coleman Barks Author, The Essential Rumi
“The prayer of Imam al-Dari is a reminder that in all religions and all cultures there are men and women of wisdom and courage who rise to stand with the oppressed against the oppressor. The greatest virtue we possess, as the poet knows, is compassion, not only for the victim but also for the victimizer. It is the contradictory tension of justice and mercy, of law and forgiveness, which makes us complete human beings.” – Chris Hedges Author, War Is a Force That Gives Us Meaning
